The JOVVI 98.5% Transparency MRI Window delivers exceptional optical clarity through its glass-mesh-glass construction, providing excellent patient observation with minimal visual obstruction. The high transparency is achieved through careful selection of glass materials and optimization of the mesh pattern to balance RF shielding and visual clarity.
The window maintains 100–110 dB RF attenuation across the 10 MHz to 130 MHz frequency band through the brass mesh shielding layer. The mesh uses 36 or 60 mesh per inch construction with black coating to reduce glare. The 5mm tempered glass and 8mm insulating hollow glass provide structural strength and acoustic insulation.
The 98.5% transparency is particularly valuable for patient monitoring during scanning, enabling technologists to observe patient position, motion, and comfort throughout the imaging procedure. The clear observation capability is especially important for pediatric, elderly, or anxious patients.
